Memoryland

Twelve-year-old Rosemary may be a genius at math and chess, but she has no clue how to speak up for herself. Painfully shy, she finds solace in her best friend, Sam, and the fort they are building in the woods. One night, Rosemary discovers a half-buried Polaroid shining in the moonlight near the fort. She learns that the photo is of her real dad, and the dad she lives with is only a holographic replacement of the real thing. Her dad speaks to her in a dream, urging her to unlock the memories of him waiting for her within Memoryland, and quickly, because Memoryland is evaporating. Rosemary and Sam embark on a quest across the South in their search, where they learn about mysticism and music from a gentle farmer, ride on a train with a brooding, runaway teen, and meditate with a mysterious woman in a cave. If she discovers Memoryland, Rosemary must find her voice in order to bring the magic of Memoryland to life.

Lux and the Magnificent Stones

Lux and their grandfather, Baba, live in a home near the edge of the forest. During their walks in the woods with Baba, Lux collects white stones in the hopes of building something magnificent one day. Then, a strange couple comes to town offering riches in exchange for the magic river water nearby. Lux feels uneasy about the offer and asks each townsperson what they value most in the world. As they do, they give away their precious stones in gratitude and learn a valuable lesson about what it means to be rich. If Lux and Baba can convince the townspeople they are rich already, they will save the river and may just build something magnificent after all.
